If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you’ll know that I have a love for gardens and all things flower related. One of my favourite things to to do during spring, is visiting all of the beautiful gardens Belgium has to offer. Last year I showed you the Japanese Garden of Hasselt but I thought I’d take you to the Botanic Garden of Meise this time. Prepare to be amazed by an overdose of garden themed pictures!
I’ve said it before but there’s just something about autumn that makes me feel so cozy, all warm and fuzzy inside. I love the changing colours, the falling leaves, wearing cosy sweaters… Although the weather wasn’t great (it was raining. Again. Damn you Belgian weather!), we went on a little autumn walk in nature reserve De Teut, which is located in Zonhoven, Belgium.
I really can’t stop talking about coffee, can I? If you have been reading Ella Was Here for a while, you’ll know that I am a bit of a coffee addict. And so when I came across this lovely shop, Thelma Coffee and Design on Instagram the other day, I just had to go for a little visit.
The Japanese Garden in Hasselt, Belgium, is one of my favourite places to visit for a relaxing walk during the weekend. It is absolutely breath-taking this time of year with the blossoms making the garden just a tad extra special. I didn’t have the chance to go during the spring time the past few years, but this year I finally made in time to see the garden in bloom!
